As director of business intelligence and data analytics, Grant Smith leads efforts focusing on data collection, storage, security and analysis. This includes monitoring, maintenance and development of an efficient data and financial production environment at West Virginia University.
Prior to coming to WVU, Smith worked in the healthcare industry focusing on strategic initiatives using data in support of economic development and community relations.
Smith has worked at WVU since 2017 and holds an M.S. in Business Cybersecurity and a B.A. in Political Science both from WVU.
