Josh Imes

Josh Imes was appointed interim university registrar in 2022 after serving nearly five years as associate registrar. 

He joined West Virginia University’s Office of the University Registrar in 2014 and has served in various roles since then. Prior to coming to WVU, Imes worked in the IT field as a business analyst in New York City both in the private sector and for a non-profit. He has been involved in higher education since 2010, serving as the director of debate at The New School in New York. 

Imes holds his MA in Media and Communication from The European Graduate School (Saas-Fee, Switzerland) and his BA in Social Inquiry from The New School (New York, NY).
