Messages from the Provost

To maintain ongoing communication with WVU campuses, Provost Reed is sending monthly messages highlighting new and ongoing initiatives that support our strategic efforts. We realize messages can get lost in inboxes, so those monthly messages also will be shared here. Check back often to stay informed!

Thank you for patience as we have worked to develop summer tutoring resources for families of faculty and staff. We are excited to announce an opportunity that stems from a collaboration between Faculty Senate leadership, the College of Education and Human Services, WVU Art Museum, and the Office of the Provost.

We have created a bundle of grade-specific (kindergarten-second grade, third-fifth grade, sixth-eighth grade, and ninth-twelfth grade) materials for you to pick up for your children. The materials include a book, activities related to the book, information and activities from Blanche Lazzell (WV artist showcased in the WVU Museum), and art materials. You can pick up the materials beginning July 19 in 210 Stewart Hall.
