Fall 2020 Course Withdrawal Deadline Extended to December 4

The Office of the Provost recognizes that additional pressures related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic have impacted students in different ways. To provide students with more time to evaluate their academic performance in their courses, we are extending the deadline to withdraw from courses by two weeks. The new deadline to withdraw is December 4, 2020.

Our hope is that students will use the extra time to better inform their decision whether to complete or withdraw from a course. All students considering the withdrawal option should be aware that withdrawing from courses may negatively affect financial aid, scholarships and progression in their course of study.

All students are encouraged to contact their academic adviser if they have questions about the impact of withdrawing from a course.
