Approval Timeline for New Programs/Majors
All new programs or majors must be approved by the April WVU Board of Governors meeting to be included in the immediate next academic year's Catalog.
For undergraduate programs, this will allow them to also be included on the following calendar year's fall term application.
For graduate programs, full program proposals must be approved by the Board of Governors at least 90 days ahead of the targeted application open date to be included on the graduate application.
