WVU Celebrates Long-Form Scholarship with Virtual Showcase

Dear Colleagues:

Each spring, the WVU Office of the Provost, in partnership with the WVU Libraries, WVU Humanities Center and the WVU Press, hosts an annual celebration of long-form scholarship and creative work produced by WVU faculty.

The showcase recognizes WVU’s productive and creative faculty who have published a book, released a CD or produced a full-length work in another medium. To be eligible, the work must have been published, released or produced between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2020.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, participants were invited to showcase their work in the Wise Library Milano Reading Room. In 2020, however, the showcase was moved online to help continue the celebration and reach a wider audience.

Take the time to explore the Long-Form Scholarship 2021 virtual showcase and celebrate our colleagues' achievements. The showcase is also featured as part of WVU’s annual Research Week, which kicks off April 12.

Regards,

Office of the Provost
