Assistant Vice President for Decision Support and Analysis

As Assistant Vice President for Decision Support and Analysis, Dr. Chaun Stores provides WVU with cross-functional analytical research to inform institutional effectiveness and planning, policy formation and decision-making in support of the University’s goals and objectives. Reporting to the Vice Provost, he is directly involved in the analysis of student success, institutional benchmarking analyses, and environmental scanning of higher education issues important to the University’s position and operating environment. Stores leads various projects leveraging analytics to establish insight on key topics of interest and importance among senior leadership across WVU campuses.

Before returning to his alma mater, Stores served as the Director of Assessment and Institutional Research at Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, PA, and worked in the Office of Strategic Management as a Presidential Management Fellow with the Social Security Administration in Baltimore, MD.

As a former Southern Regional Education Board Fellow and W.E.B.
